Park City Ultimate Tournament

The Ski Town Classic is an Ultimate Frisbee tournament hosted in Park City, Utah. The fields are located high in the mountains, where the air is clean and the summer temperatures are perfect for ultimate. The fields have to be some of the best in the country, and provide just the right cushion for laying out without slowing you down. We look forward to seeing you at this great tournament in the amazing mountains of the Wasatch Front!

2010 Tournament

This year's Ski Town Classic will be held August 14-15, 2010 in beautiful Park City, UT. The tournament will be located at the Willow Creek Park fields and will feature at team tournament on Saturday and a Hat tournament on Sunday.

Schedule and Rules

SATURDAY - Team Tournament
Games will start at 9am sharp. Games will last 1 hour and 30 mins with a soft cap being put on at 1:15. Add 1 point to the highest score and play to that score. One time out per half with one time out floating. Please do not call a time out in the 5 minutes leading up to the soft cap. No time outs in the soft cap.
Round 1 - 9:00 - 10:30 - BYE = Bozo/Miss
Round 2 - 10:30 - 12:00 - BYE = Killjoys
Round 3 - 12:00 - 1:30 - BYE = Destroying Angels
Round 4 - 1:30 - 3:00 - BYE = Devastator
Round 5 - 3:00 - 4:30 - BYE = Riding West
Round 6 - 4:30 - 6:00 - BYE = Primitive Disc Monkeys

There is not a dinner or party being hosted by the tournament but.........
6:00 - 8:30pm Free Concert at The Canyons Resort. This will be an awesome event to hit. It is within 5 mins of driving or 10-15mins walking from the fields. You will take a "gondola" up to the main resort area where the Rail Road Earth(http://railroadearth.com/) band will be playing. There will be vendors there with food and beer for purchase if you don't want to bring your own food and drink. For more information check out http://www.thecanyons.com/events.html?textid=10155 . This will be an awesome event for teams and families......plan on it. I envision a bunch of hippy ultimate players dancing in front of the band.

SUNDAY - Hat Tournament
If you played with a team on Saturday you will be given more information at that time on signing up for the hat tournament and how to rank yourself as a player. Your team tournament fee also includes the hat tournament

For those people players that only want to play in the hat tournament, show up at Willow Creek(link) on Sunday at 9:30am to sign up ($10) and be placed on a team. We will have 4 teams and play 2 games to 15 with a 2 hour time cap. At 1:45 add one to the highest score and play to that.

Games start at 10am and will end at 2pm.
